Interesting New Acai Product Out Today – Pure Acai Berry
I’ve never been a part of a “Product Launch” before, but today I guess I have officially earned my keep, thanks to all of the readers of this blog.
You may have noticed that I have never before endorsed any Acai Berry pills of any kind. 99 times out of a hundred, they all turned out to be a scam, signing people up to a credit card nightmare that they usually had to cancel their credit cards entirely to get out of. Sigh.
Since I’ve long warned people away from acai berry pills and supplements, the kind people at Pure Acai Berry, launching a totally new product for acai berry supplements today, actually took the time to send me a sample of their product and enlist my help to review it. So review it I shall, and you’ll be very well rewarded for reading that review here below.
1. The packaging
As you can see from the picture I took here, the box and 6 blister packs that Pure Acai Berry comes in is very professional and sturdy. It was certainly not flimsy in any way, like you’d expect from a lower-quality product. This is important to note because I felt like there was no way that anyone could tamper with these supplements without me seeing some clear evidence of it. That’s a real advantage that blister packs like these have over bottles, which are harder to open for everyone, including you. |
All in all, each box has six sheets of 15 capsules each, for 90 capsules per box.
2. The Shipping & Support
I can’t tell you how fast they’ll ship you your order to your home, but I live in the center of the USA, and they got it to me within 48 hours of me giving them my shipping address online. This is despite the fact that they list a U.K. headquarters address on their website, so they must have distribution points located around the globe.
Worried about not being able to talk to someone there? Don’t be. They have a 1-800 support phone number, as well as a UK toll-free Number, and even a Worldwide number all listed on their contact page, which even has an email form that they say is checked 24-7 for any and all inquiries.
3. The Ingredients
As you can see in this photo I took of the back of the box, Pure Acai Berry has nothing in it at all, save for 1,500 milligrams of Freeze Dried Acai in powdered form. This is, essentially, the only reason I decided to review their product. I’ve never done this kind of thing before and in case you’re not one of my regular readers, you won’t find any other product recommendations on this blog, certainly not full reviews, because very few product at all put NOTHING but the fruit in them. Since they didn’t add anything else, and especially since I didn’t smell any kind of a scam with this company, I feel good enough about them to recommend them from this blog. |
I must admit, there is no mention anywhere that I can see about how exactly they harvest and freeze their berries so quickly, except for the assurance that they do freeze dry them “immediately after picking.” In the future I’d like to find out exactly how that is done and I may have to ask them directly… It’ll make an interesting blog post, at least.
Until then, and as always, only you can be the judge if the freeze dried acai berry powder in these capsules helps you become more healthy or lose weight. I cannot say I have lost weight taking these capsules, but I have only had them for a few days now and if their freeze drying process turns out to be a good one, the ORAC rating of this powder should jump off the charts.
I’d really like to see the results of an independent ORAC assay run on these too. Oh well, perhaps one day I’ll do it myself by sending some to Brunswick labs. Depends on how many people are requesting it. (They are expensive though, I’d have to take up a collection.)
4. My Overall Opinion of Pure Acai Berry
It’s hardly scientific, but I’ve been trying a couple of pills in place of my morning Rio Bowl. No, it’s certainly not as tasty, but few of us ever have the time to make one of those blended messy things every single morning. (Yeah, you know what I’m talking about!)
So for the last few days I’ve been popping two of these in the morning with a quick breakfast of cereal. Normally when I have cereal but no Acai, I can very easily tell that my energy and even immune system are weakened for the day. It has always been very obvious to me. I’ll need things like an after-lunch coffee or some caffeine at some point to keep bright-eyed and bushy tailed.
I can happily say that there was no such period of weakness when I replaced the Rio Bowl with some Pure Acai Berry. I had energy all day long, and so to me, at least, that is just further proof that it’s not the sugar in Acai that gives all the energy, it’s really the antioxidants and other nutrient goodies in Acai.
That’s great news for the sake of getting out the door faster each morning, as well as for dieters. Eating a Rio Bowl or some kind of Acai Smoothie is very healthy for someone dieting, but it loads them up with sugar and many people don’t find themselves losing weight that way. Hopefully with this concentrated Acai in capsule form they dieters will be able to find all the energy they need, stay healthy, and lose weight all at the same time.
